Photos and quick notes from the roof become a clean, organized report the homeowner can read and share with their insurance company.
You inspect a lot of roofs and send homeowners a write-up, or wish you did.
You rarely send inspection reports.
Photo apps built for contractors organize photos by job, and some now use AI to draft the report from your photos and notes. CompanyCam's FAQ says its AI features are on its Crew plan and up. You review and send. A clear report helps the homeowner say yes and gives the adjuster what they need.

Count inspection reports in a normal week.
You take dozens of photos on every inspection, and they end up in a camera roll. Building a report the homeowner understands takes time nobody has.
1 to 2 hrs a week: 5 to 10 inspection reports a week at 15 to 20 minutes each, cut to a quick review. Rounded down.
Don't count on it. Use AI to organize and write up what you found. The finding itself is your call.
CompanyCam's FAQ says Crew and up. Its comparison table also lists a small number of AI credits on Core, so check with them before you buy.
