This policy explains what information AIMention collects when you use the service and how it is used.

What we collect

When you run a report, we collect two things: the website URL you submit and your email address. That is it. We do not collect your name, phone number, or any other personal information.

How your email is used

Your email address is used to send you the report you paid for. We will not add you to a marketing list or send you promotional emails without asking your permission first. If we ever launch a newsletter or update service, you will be able to opt in separately.

Payment data

Payments are processed by Stripe. AIMention never sees or stores your card number, CVV, or any payment details. Stripe handles all of that securely on their end. You can read Stripe's own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Website analysis

To generate your report, we fetch the content of the URL you submit and send it to our analysis service. We do not store the scraped content beyond what is required to generate your report.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — things like which pages are visited and how long people spend on the report. This is anonymised aggregate data. No personally identifiable information is shared with Google Analytics. GA4 uses cookies to collect this data. If you prefer not to be tracked, you can disable cookies in your browser settings or use Google's Analytics opt-out tool at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with anyone. We only share data with the third-party services required to run AIMention: Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery, and Cloudflare for hosting.

Data retention

Your email address is retained so we can resend your report if something goes wrong. If you would like your email removed from our records, just email us and we will take care of it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect when the most recent changes were made. Continued use of AIMention after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
