What gets set up

The AI built into Gmail or Outlook, or Claude with your standard answers, drafts a reply in your voice. Someone reads and sends it. Nothing goes out on its own.

Why it matters

The same emails come in every week: can you resend my invoice, when are you coming, is this covered. Each takes a few minutes and they add up.

How I estimated the hours

0.5 to 1.5 hrs a week: 25 to 40 routine emails a week at 3 to 4 minutes each, with AI drafting about half. Rounded down.
