Retyping. Chasing. Answering the same question again.

With the fixes

Make more. Save time. Do better work.

I find the two or three changes that actually pay off for your business, usually starting with tools you already pay for. Plain English, no hype, nothing to resell.

  • The same info gets retyped all day.
  • Estimates go out and nobody follows up.
  • Customers wait too long to hear back.
  • You answer the same questions on repeat.
  • You pay for software you barely use.
  • You'd rather grow than chase busywork.

If a few of those hit home, there's probably something here for you.

Home services, professional firms, local shops, owners running a small team. If the same tasks keep eating your week, this is for you. I'm based in Bartlett and work with owners across the Chicago suburbs and beyond.

AI already earns its keep. Knowing where to start is the hard part.

27%

27 out of 100

of small businesses feel confident putting AI to work. The rest know it matters but aren't sure where to begin.

SMB Group / Forbes, 2024

The question isn't whether AI helps. The data settled that.

20+ hrs

One block = one hour

saved every month by most small business AI users. Nearly half a full time employee's time back.

Thryv, 2025

82%

82 out of 100

of small businesses using AI grew their headcount last year. AI tends to free up the team, not replace it.

U.S. Chamber of Commerce, 2025

That first number is the gap I close. You don't need to become an AI expert. You need someone to point at the right two or three things.

The work doesn't vanish. It moves across the line.

Examples, not a menu. Your assessment names the two or three that fit your business.

  1. The same info, retyped all day
A smart intake formDetails go in once and land where they belong.
  2. The same questions, answered on repeat
An AI assistant loaded with your templatesDrafts the answer in your words. You just check and send.
  3. Estimates that go quiet
Estimate remindersA friendly nudge goes out on schedule, so fewer jobs slip away.
  4. Software you pay for and barely use
Features you already own, turned onTurning on what your CRM and inbox can already do.

What working together looks like

It starts small. We fix the two or three things that matter most, then build from there. Recommendations based on what fits you, not any vendor I'm tied to.

  1. A free intro call

Tell me what's slow, repetitive, or slipping through the cracks. I'll give you a straight read on where the time and money are hiding. If nothing's worth doing, I'll say so.

  2. Discovery and your written assessment

A short recorded call where you walk me through where your time actually goes. Then a written assessment: the highest value places AI fits, ranked, with the exact tool for each, what it costs, the hours it saves, and a quick start plan. Tied to your words and your numbers.

  3. The review call

I walk you through every recommendation. I never just email a report and disappear. You finish knowing exactly what to do first.

  4. Setup, if you want it Optional

Most owners want a hand putting the top one or two in place. I build them and hand them over. Or run with the plan yourself.

  5. Keep it running Optional

Tools change and connections break. I can stay on as your AI person for a few hours a month, so what we built keeps working and the next fix is ready when you are.

What you walk away with

  • A ranked list of where AI fits your business
  • The exact tool for each, with cost
  • The hours each could save
  • A quick start plan for your first week

Real experience, plain English

I'm Charlie. I spent 20+ years in digital media and account management, leading teams and running budgets in the millions at agencies. I've sat on the client's side of the table: busy, accountable, and skeptical of shiny tools that promise the world.

I built AIMention myself, and I run my own business on the same kind of setups I recommend, including a daily AI briefing I built to start my mornings. Ask me to show you. I know what holds up and what's hype.

You get a diagnosis you can act on, with me or on your own.

No. That's not the point. The aim is to take repetitive work off your team so they can spend their time on the work that actually moves the business forward.

Not at all. I handle the technical side and explain the rest in plain English. If you can describe what slows your team down, that's enough to start.

Then I'll say so on the call. I'd rather be honest than sell you something you don't need, and you'll still walk away with a clearer picture of where AI fits and where it doesn't.

No. I'm not tied to any vendor and I don't take kickbacks. I recommend what fits your business, even when that's a tool you already pay for.

The intro call is free. The assessment is a flat fee, and I'll give you the exact number on that first call. It covers the discovery call, the written assessment, and the review call. Setup and ongoing help are scoped and priced separately.

Practical things like a smart intake form, automatic estimate reminders, an AI assistant loaded with your templates, or turning on the AI features your CRM already has. Small changes that add up.

Usually not. A lot of the first wins come from tools you already pay for and aren't getting the most out of. If something new is worth it, I'll tell you why and what it costs.

You own it. If you want, I stay on for a few hours a month to keep things running, adjust as your tools change, and add the next fix. No long contract.

Ready when you are.

A free intro call, a written assessment built around your business, and a walkthrough so you know exactly what to do first.
